Our Unique Mission
While we are part of our national organization, we are led by local staff and volunteers and created a mission independent to Vista’s needs. Our mission is to empower every Club member, through safe and impactful experiences to: graduate high school with a plan for college or a career, contribute to their community, and live a healthy life.
Our latest National Youth Outcome Measurement Survey showed that at the Boys & Girls Club of Vista:
95% of Boys & Girls Club of Vista Club teens report they will graduate high school and explore college or a career
90% of Boys & Girls Club of Vista Club members report that they want to help when they see someone having a problem
89% of Boys & Girls Club of Vista Club members report avoidance of risky behavior (drugs, fighting, etc.)

Our programs help youth become responsible and caring citizens. Program participants also develop leadership skills and gain opportunities for planning, decision-making, and contributing to Club and community.
