  • Do players need to be registered and have fees paid to participate?

    • Yes, after making the team, parents must register online at https://www.bgcvista.org/sports , pay the fees or set-up a payment plan, or apply for a scholarship.

  • Are there any scholarships to assist with registration fees?

    • Yes, the Boys & Girls Club of Vista is aware of financial hardships for athletic programs, so if there is a need for financial assistance, the Boys & Girls Club of Vista Scholarship will assist with 50% of the fee. The City of Vista Scholarship will also assist with registration fees if eligible. We can also assist with a payment plan agreement.

  • When are practices?

    • Practices will be scheduled afterschool 2-3 times a week Monday – Thursday.

  • When are the games?

    • Games will be scheduled 1 or 2 days a week between Monday – Thursdays. When are game times? Varsity 4:30 pm and J.V. 5:30pm

  • Do the players keep the jersey after the season is over?

    • No. Jerseys will be issued to the players for the duration of the season and must be returned at the conclusion of the last game.

  • If my player decides to drop or quit the team, is the enrollment fee refundable?

    • No, the fees are not refundable and are used to cover coach & referee expenses.

  • Where are game schedules posted?

    • They are located on the Team Snap app.

  • Is Equal playing time required?

    • All cut sports are competitive and played at a high level. This may result in some participants playing for fewer minutes than others. Playing time is not guaranteed.
